We had a bad ice storm in our area a couple days ago and took out our phone and Internet at home for the afternoon. You never really realize how much you depend on always-on, high-speed Internet until you don’t have it. I found myself trying to get online by patching my PC to my mobile phone, but it was just horribly slow.
