I use Bloglines as my main feed reader, but I generally only read through items in the morning. However, there are a few news sites and sites with a lot of posts (like Digg, Engadget) that I like to keep up with throughout the day. For those, I’ve been using Netvibes. It’s great as a home page. I also use it to check new massages in Gmail. If you have just a handful of feeds or some frequently updated ones, get a Netvibes account.
Yesterday, the Netvibes people released their Coriander version. It has a new theme and allows you to resize columns. I really like free services, but Netvibes is one of the few that I would probably pay for, if they charged.
