I live in Cincinnati and currently serve as the Technology Coordinator & Assistant Director for the SouthWest Ohio and Neighboring Libraries. My duties require me to have experience in a wide range of technologies. I’m responsible for providing technology assistance, technology training, and facilitating shared projects within the membership. I get to work with libraries of all types and sizes and it never gets boring. My particular interests are open source software, web development/programming, gadgets, and training in libraries.
I’ve worked with technology in libraries since 1992. Before coming to SWON Libraries, I worked in the Library Computing Services Department at Wright State University. I started there as a student employee and eventually became a professional staff member of the department.

I’ve been married since 1997 and have two young kids. My family is my main hobby and I try to spend as much time with them as I can. Yes, this means that I spend much of my weekend playing Star Wars and Barbies.
